A scuba diving group is making face masks out of recycled ocean plastic.
The world-famous scuba diving group PADI is making face masks out of recycled ocean plastic. They have, since they started in April, removed 1,267 pounds of oceanic plastic. The masks sell at $20.40 and it comes with 5 replacement filters. PADI that since they’re very much a heart and soul organization, and they wanted to take a stand to show how they care about the ocean the diving community, they decided to not make a profit form sales of this product and masks are sold at cost price only.
